Controller
Molly Roesler joined KYMEA in September 2020 as an Accountant and Financial Analyst and currently serves as the Agency’s Controller. In this role, she oversees KYMEA’s accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, cash and asset management, and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards. She also leads the annual external audit process and supports the development of financial policies and procedures that protect the Agency’s assets and promote sound financial stewardship.
Ms. Roesler plays an integral role in KYMEA’s budgeting, rate-setting, debt financing, and long-term financial planning activities. She provides financial analysis and projections to support strategic decision-making, bond-funded projects, debt service requirements, and the Agency’s Integrated Resource Planning process. She also works closely with financial advisors, bond counsel, rating agencies, auditors, senior leadership, and the Board of Directors to support KYMEA’s financial strength and long-term objectives.
Before joining KYMEA, Ms. Roesler gained experience in the healthcare and manufacturing industries, developing a broad background in data analysis, process improvement, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. She is a Kentucky Certified Public Accountant and graduated summa cum laude from Spalding University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Belmont University and a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Louisville.
