KYMEA operates under the direction of its Board of Directors and is led by a President and Chief Executive Officer who is responsible for establishing the Agency’s strategic direction and overseeing its operations, performance, and administration.

The President and CEO is supported by a multidisciplinary leadership team with expertise in integrated resource planning, power supply and market analytics, portfolio and risk management, finance and treasury, accounting and regulatory compliance, human resources, governance, communications, public affairs, and organizational administration.

Together, KYMEA’s leadership brings decades of professional experience and a strong understanding of the needs of municipal electric utilities. Their complementary knowledge supports disciplined decision-making, sound financial stewardship, effective risk management, organizational excellence, and reliable service to KYMEA’s member communities.
